This has been an interesting week so far. Due to air quality issues from the fires in Southern California, our children have been on a restricted outdoor schedule. Recesses, P.E. and lunches are all indoors until the Air Quality Management District removes the warning. Our teachers have had to get creative with classroom management and the kids have been encouraged to do quiet work such as journaling, reading, patchwork math, etc.
