
March brings with it our new theme: Insects. We will soon have posted activities and books which relate to our theme.
There was a lot of stuff that went home in this week's Wednesday folders-- a lot of days to remember...
Friday, February 29th
It's Green Day! In honor of Leap Year, join the school in celebrating by wearing green on Friday. The class with the most participants wearing green will win ice cream bars.
Monday, March 3rd
Read Across America Day - Celebrate Dr. Suess' birthday and the joy of reading. During the day, parents, grandparents, neighbors, community members and friends are invited to read to our students. If you are interested in reading, call the school office (447-7795) to schedule a reading time throughout the day. In the evening, all our Rolling Hills families are invited to join the teachers in the multi-purpose room from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m. Call the office to RSVP.
Wednesday, March 5th
Brown Bag meeting, 12:10 - 12:50 pm
Thursday, March 6th
Field trip to The Music Man, 8:45 am to 12:30 pm. Make sure your child's permission slip and $5 have been turned in. Any adults going also need to send in $5 for tickets.
Friday, March 7th
Mini-classes begin.
Saturday, March 8th
Cleaning day, more info. to follow
Miscellaneous
- The March events calendar and work schedule have also been sent home.
- There is information for a contest for Fullerton Railroad Days. Entries are due before April 16th. Check with the school office for more information.
Disaster Preparedness
A list of requested items for the school's disaster preparedness bin was sent home. Students from our class are being asked to bring either one 29 oz.can of peaches or one 40 oz. can of beef stew.
